i think what makes a good venue is when its a busy and a very common place, this is a good type of venue because you'll get lots of money and more popular which will make your time in the music industry succesfull. also A good music venue is one where musicians enjoy performing and where guests enjoy hanging out. Fortunately, these two factors usually go together. When their fans have a good time, most musicians have a good time. And when people have a good time at your venue, they'll want to come back to have a good time again. This is the key to running a successful venue; return visitors who eventually become regular visitors!!

The Waterfront is a live music venue and nightclub situated in King Street close to Norwich City Centre and the Riverside leisure development.
The Box Office for the Waterfront is located in UNION HOUSE on the UEA Campus (clearly signposted). We are based to the right of the building as you come from the Car Park in the last shop at the end.
It is an ALL STANDING VENUE with a capacity of 700. Age limits for the WF are 14 and over for gigs, 18 and over for club nights.
Originally built to satisfy the need for a venue for local musicians to play in, after several years it failed financially in 1993 at which point the Union Of UEA Students stepped in and made an offer to the Council. The offer was accepted and its gone from strength to strength since.
The Union Of UEA Students have remained true to the spirit of supporting local talent and regularly have events at which bands (and individuals) from the locale can play.
